The respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Asaad Al-Zaidi, participated in the opening ceremony of the first clinic specialized in high blood pressure in Al-Diwaniyah Teaching Hospital, and the second in Iraq. The opening celebration began with a scientific symposium on the project to control high blood pressure and its complications, which was delivered by the lecturer in our college, M. M. Moataz Al-Sabah, specialty in cardiology and preventive medicine. The Dean of the College confirmed that our college strongly supports every project that would control the risk factors that lead to heart and blood vessel diseases and provide distinguished medical service to patients in the city of Diwaniyah, based on our belief in the university’s role in serving the community.
