The College of Pharmacy, Department of Clinical Laboratory Sciences, held a scientific symposium on the occasion of World Heart Day, entitled (Heart Diseases, the First Killer) delivered by the lecturer’ Asst.Lect Moataz Rahman Awda Al-Sabah, a specialist in cardiovascular diseases, which was launched by the World Heart Federation in Geneva and its implementation mechanism. Al-Sabah also shed light on what has been achieved in Iraq from this plan so far, from the establishment of clinics specialized in blood lipids and high blood pressure and the launch of globally agreed health strategies and programs to control heart diseases and their serious repercussions.
