The lecturer at the College of Pharmacy (M.M. Moataz Al-Sabah), specializing in cardiovascular diseases and the head of the Iraqi blood lipid clinics network in the Italian city of Milan, met with Professor (Gian Franco Parati), head of the Cardiovascular Department at the University of Milan. During the meeting, which was prepared in advance, a discussion was held. The Iraq initiative launched by Al-Sabah, which was an international health program that would be launched in the Middle East and Africa region from Iraq, and Al-Sabah requested Professor Barati’s support for the project as he is the chief expert in the European region.
Professor Barati praised the idea of the project presented by Al-Sabah and its importance in promoting cardiovascular health in this important region in the world. Barati assured Al-Sabah that he supports every step he takes to make this program a success.
Al-Sabah stressed that the implementation of this program will achieve a qualitative leap in the health system in Iraq if implemented
