2- Explaining the mechanism of action of probiotics & prebiotics and explaining the health benefits for humans
3- Sources of probiotics & prebiotics
The aim of the seminar was to introduce the importance of probiotics and prebiotics as beneficial or helpful in supporting the human immune system, especially in children, and that they are usually present in the body or can be obtained from certain food sources to help it get rid of bad bacteria.
The researcher touched on its effects that form a balance within the body, and how it is a beneficial bacteria in several parts of the human body, especially in the digestive tract. Doctors usually use it to treat diseases and disorders of the digestive system, such as diarrhea and constipation in children. It also has a role in stimulating the immune response and regulating the concentration of cytokines. Inflammatory diseases related to hypersensitivity diseases such as asthma and eczema. The researcher also pointed to some recent studies on the effect of prebiotics on the mental development of infants.
