In preparation for the second part of Fighting Fake Medical News related to Cardiovascular health which is planned to be arranged next week and will be specially dedicated for Journalists and media personnel, Assistant Professor Dr. Assad Al-Zaidy, Dean of college of Pharmacy met today morning in his office Mr. Ahmed Al-Shaibani , Journalists representative in Al-Diwaniyah city and Mr. Ameen Al-Hillaly , direct of the Iraqi official TV channel office in the city to discuss the collaboration in this issue.
Al-Zaidy stressed on the role of the Iraqi media personnels and Journalists in Fighting Fake Medical News which target the Iraqi citizen’s life and the importance of collaboration among health care providers , Media and security system to deal with this extremely important issue.
Al-Zaidy stressed that college of Pharmacy took this responsibility and decided to go ahead.
It is worth to mention that the first part of this workshop was arranged by our college in collaboration with college of sciences in the university of Al-Qadissiya which hosted the first part in which Assistant lecturer Mutaz Al-Sabah who attended the meeting spoke to the public about Fake Medical News related to Cardiovascular health and how to deal with such issue last week .
Assistant Prof..Bassam Alzaiadi , the administrative assistant of the college attended this meeting as well , he stressed that the college will do its best to make this event possible and successful .
