under the patronage of the respected President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Kazem Jabr Al-Jubouri, and under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Hassan Al-Zaidi, and the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy \/ Al-Qadisiyah University organizes an educational workshop on [The rights and duties of female employees in the Iraqi State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991, as amended]. In accordance with the directives of the Women’s Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in implementation of the strategic plan for women’s affairs (2023_2024) and within the legal axis, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy organized an educational workshop on [The rights and duties of female employees in the Iraqi State and Public Sector Employees Law No. 14 of 1991, as amended] in the library hall in the college on Tuesday, 11\/19\/2024 at 9:30 am, attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Awlia Jabbar Saheb Al Hilali – Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College.
\nThe workshop aimed to shed light on the rights of female employees included in the State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law on the one hand, and the duties of female employees in this law. It also addressed the disciplinary penalties included in this law, which are (reprimand, warning, salary cut, reprimand, salary reduction, demotion, dismissal, and removal), and explained the legal guarantees for female employees in the face of the administration’s authority to impose disciplinary penalties, which are determining the authority responsible for imposing the penalty, forming an investigation committee in accordance with the law, the availability of formalities in imposing the penalty, as well as stating the cases of canceling the penalty, whether it is within the employee’s department or outside her department, and appealing the administrative decision to impose the disciplinary penalty before the judiciary when certain conditions specified by the law are met. In conclusion, it was recommended that efforts be combined to properly implement the State and Public Sector Employees Discipline Law (amended), in addition to the need to conduct continuous educational campaigns, seminars and workshops in this regard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
