{"id":9677,"date":"2023-11-05T10:28:38","date_gmt":"2023-11-05T07:28:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ph.qu.edu.iq\/?p=9677"},"modified":"2023-11-05T10:28:39","modified_gmt":"2023-11-05T07:28:39","slug":"a-training-course-at-the-college-of-pharmacy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ph.qu.edu.iq\/?p=9677&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"A training course at the College of Pharmacy\u2026."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The College of Pharmacy at Al-Qadisiyah University, in cooperation with the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Diwaniyah, held a training course entitled (The Role of Educational and Security Institutions in Combating the Drug Phenomenon)<br>All present:<br>A.M.D. Walid Hassan Hamid Al-Zayadi \/ Director of the Security Permits Department at Al-Qadisiyah University<br>Major Hassan Mahmoud Shaker Al-Khuzaie \/ Directorate of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Affairs in Diwaniyah<br>And Dr. Hussein Abdel Amir \/ College of Pharmacy &#8211; Al-Qadisiyah University<br>The course covered many matters, including: an explanation of the legal provisions relating to doctors\u2019 prescriptions and pharmacists\u2019 dispensing of narcotic substances and psychotropic substances, as Article 16 of the Narcotic Drugs Law stipulates that a doctor may not dispense narcotic substances or psychotropic substances to a patient except for the purpose of medical treatment for those suffering from neurological or psychological diseases. Article 19 also stipulates that a pharmacist may not dispense narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances except through a prescription issued by a doctor specialized in practicing the profession.<br>The aim of the course was to introduce the most important main reasons for the spread of this scourge, such as society\u2019s ignorance of its danger or lack of supervision by parents, as well as lack of religious motivation, etc.<br>The symposium recommended the need to work on educating society, especially the youth and families, and encourage tightening supervision over children to prevent their involvement in this dangerous field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex
