A teacher at the College of Pharmacy publishes joint scientific research with an international research team in the prestigious international journal The Lancet, with an impact factor of 168.9.
The Dean of the College received the respected Prof. Dr. Asaad Al-Zaidi in his office on Thursday morning, 12/14, a lecturer at the college, Prof. Moataz Al-Sabah, specializing in preventive cardiology, who conveyed the news that he had published with an international research team a scientific study in the prestigious international journal The Lancet with an impact factor. 168.9 About hereditary cholesterol disease in children and adolescents, where Al-Sabah headed an Iraqi research team that represented Iraq in this global research.
The study concluded that it is necessary to examine blood cholesterol levels in children and adolescents at an early age to avoid its fatal complications.
This is the first time in the history of our university, and perhaps in all Iraqi universities, that an Iraqi researcher has access to this international journal with a very high impact factor.
