Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Hassan Al-Zaidi, the Honorable Dr. Asaad Hassan Al-Zaidi, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy held today, Monday, 3/25/2024, a symposium on (Protecting the Family and Strengthening its Bonds) at nine-thirty in the morning in the library hall.

Which targeted the college’s members, including teachers and employees.
The symposium aimed to explain the importance of the family and its role in society, as it is the first seed from which all societies emerge and are formed. It is also a statistical unit, through which the population census and the class system in society can be known.
The symposium highlighted the educational importance of the family and the factors for family success and cohesion. It also touched on domestic violence, its forms, and mechanisms for strengthening family bonds.
The symposium ended with recommendations including making decisions in a participatory manner in the family, giving attention to family members, proceeding according to the principle of tolerance, and not blaming anyone when problems occur, as well as activating the role of guidance, health, and social institutions specialized in family problems to help prevent their problems from aggravating.
