The European Atherosclerosis Society, based in Sweden, chose our college professor, Assistant Professor Moataz Al-Sabah, as an ambassador for the 92nd annual conference, which will be held in the French city of Lyon next month. Al-Sabah is the only Arab medical figure among the six ambassadors chosen from different countries of the world (Turkey, Italy, France, Brazil, and Argentina). The Special Committee of the European Society selects well-known figures with a strong scientific background in the world, and who possess distinguished skills in using various social media platforms to promote accurate scientific information, combat false medical information, and advocate for scientific content that benefits recipients.
