under the patronage of the esteemed Mr. President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Dr. Kazem Jabbar Al-Jubouri, under the supervision of the respected Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Hassan Al-Zaidi. The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Electronic Computing Unit, held a seminar on the Scientific Experience System on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The seminar was presented by Mrs. Areej Ribat, highlighting that the Scientific Experience System is an accomplished system developed by Al-Mustansiriya University in cooperation with the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Department and the Postgraduate Studies Department at the Ministry of Higher Education. The experience has been shared with all Iraqi universities, aiming to achieve several objectives, including replacing paper-based procedures with digital transformation adopted by the government, including the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This includes establishing databases for published and unpublished research for postgraduate students, as well as databases for lecturers in all Iraqi universities across various disciplines. The system facilitates the selection of researchers or professors by department heads as scientific evaluators for master’s and doctoral theses, streamlines the process of sending messages and theses to experts, and eliminates the need for experts to send responses. It allows full access to all experiences and steps involved in the evaluation process by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Department, preventing any delays in the evaluation process. Additionally, there will be an evaluation of the lecturers themselves within the system, as this serves as the primary database for Iraqi lecturers.
