The College of Pharmacy / Al-Qadisiyah University, within the activities of the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the college, organized a workshop on (Breast Cancer – Causes and Treatment) on Wednesday, 10/25/2023, at 10:30 am in the library hall.

The symposium aimed to introduce female college employees to breast cancer by explaining its causes, such as lifestyle, hormonal factors, and the environment that increase the risk of breast cancer. It also explained the risk factors, breast cancer, and its genetics, as well as methods of treating it and the necessity of early diagnosis of the disease because it contributes significantly to reducing the disease. The workshop recommended the necessity of following a healthy lifestyle with healthy nutrition, exercising, and avoiding taking hormonal medications.
