The College of Pharmacy held a training course entitled (The Third Arabic Language Safety Course), which lasted for five days from 10/22-26/2023 for its members.

The course included training participants on ensuring accuracy and correctness in writing books and official correspondence through the following topics:
1- Be familiar with the rules of correct Arabic spelling, especially the problematic issues in which oversight and error often occur due to the confusion of the matter on the part of editors, such as: punctuation marks, the rules for writing the hamza, and writing the letters dhaad and dhaa… etc.
2- Knowing how to formulate requests and official letters in a proper manner by selecting the appropriate vocabulary for each position.
3- At the end of the session, a presentation was made of examples of books and administrative orders in which editorial errors occurred. The trainees diagnosed the defects. To avoid it in the future.
Course results:
The participants became aware of many of the mistakes they made, and learned about what is wrong and what is right in Arabic spelling and grammar.
